Spanish students from the following countries who study Spanish in Buenos Aires will automatically be granted a 30-day tourist visa in Argentina, and after can choose to apply for a student visa: Hong Kong (British Nationals Overseas), Jamaica, Malaysia

Applications and visa requirements can be completed after the student's arrival in Argentina and the Spanish school staff will assist students with the visa application process and advise them of any necessary documents they need to bring upon registration and program approval, depending on the student's nationality. Students from all other countries will need to apply for a student visa before entering the country, and should contact their local Argentine embassy to ask about the application process from abroad.

Reciprocity Fee in Argentina

The Argentine Government has implemented a mandatory reciprocity fee that will be charged to those nationals of Australia, Canada, and the United States.

The Argentine Government has set each fee to an equal amount of what Argentine citizens must pay when requesting a visa/entry to travel to these countries. This reciprocity fee will be collected at Ezeiza (Buenos Aires International Airport) prior to clearing immigrations.

For Americans and Australians, the fee lasts for 10 years or the life of the passport. For Canadians, the fee is valid for only one entry.
