Student Health Insurance

ViaSpanish highly recommends that all students have comprehensive international health and travel insurance abroad for the full duration of their Spanish program in Buenos Aires.

For those who wish to purchase insurance, our partner Spanish school works closely with CareMed International to offer students two comprehensive travel and medical insurance packages at affordable monthly rates to ensure international coverage for all students. Plans for insurance abroad include medical, legal and technical services, 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and are valid for study in Buenos Aires, along with travel around South America. If you do not take out a policy through our partner Spanish school, please check with your regular health insurance provider that you will be covered for the entire duration of your time abroad. Please also be sure of the claims process and whether or not you will be covered under your or a family members' plan as a student in another country.
