What ViaSpanish Looks for in Each Student Accommodation |
Student accommodations in Málaga include shared and private room options for each individual student, and at least one native Spanish-speaker living in each homestay. Our goal for all students living with a local host family is that they will use their hosts as resources about life in Málaga and the Spanish language, as well as become involved in their hosts’ social networks.
Each type of student accommodation in Málaga is additionally screened for cleanliness, amenities, distance from our students’ schools, and any special student requests, such as dietary needs, allergies, pets, smoking, etc. We do our best to meet the needs of each of our students within the framework of local cultural commodities and norms.

1. Homestay (with meals) |

The family homestay option is the best fit for students looking for a great deal of interaction with local Spaniards and who are interested in joining in the host family’s daily life and customs. These families are well acquainted with the city of Málaga, the Spanish culture, and greatly expedite the student’s immersion process. Families consist or everything from a señora, to a married couple with small children, to a parent with their college age children. Students share in family meals (half board or full board) and can take advantage of the opportunity to practice Spanish on a daily basis.

| 2. International Student Residence |

The international student residence option is the best fit for
independent students seeking to live with other international Spanish
language students in Málaga. Other apartment mates are other students
at our Spanish school in Málaga. Located just two minutes from the
school and 100m from the ocean, the house offers single, double, and
triple bedrooms, a large porch/terrace, private balconies, a sun room,
and gardens filled with palms and mandarin trees. Students cook their
own meals and laundry and cleaning services are available. *Students
must be at least 24 years old to stay in the Málaga student residence.

| 3. Shared Apartment |
|
The shared apartment option is the best fit for independent students seeking to live with other young people living in Málaga. Apartment mates are students or young professionals living, working, and/or studying in Málaga, and students may have anywhere from one roommate to eight other young people living in Málaga. Students in shared apartments have the choice their own bedrooms or shared rooms, cook their own meals and experience a great deal of independence.

|
Private apartments provide a great deal of privacy and independence during downtime from classes. Apartments are located in the safest neighborhoods of each destination, and provide a way to explore and discover Málaga at an individual pace or with your travel companions.
