Details of Spanish + TEFL |
The Spanish and TEFL special package includes a four week TEFL course (classroom instruction as well as eight hours of practical experience teaching in a real classroom) and accommodation in a shared apartment with at least one native Spanish speaker. You can then choose to add on intensive immersion group Spanish courses before, during (in the 120-hour option), or after your TEFL course (4 hours/day, Monday through Friday taught at the ViaSpanish Spanish School), with continued housing. Spanish and TEFL gives you all the training you need for teaching English in Buenos Aires, while simultaneously providing you with the opportunity to learn Spanish and experience Argentine culture.
We have two TEFL options for students to choose from:
1) 150 Hour Course – 7 hours per day, courses generally from 10-5PM, 8 hours of practice teaching, can take your Spanish courses before or after the TEFL course, maximum of 18 students
2) 2) 120 Hour Course – 5 hours per day, courses generally from 1:30-6:30PM, 8 hours of practice teaching, can combine with your Spanish courses or take them before or after the TEFL course, maximum of 10 students
Both courses give the student a valid TEFL certificate, the shorter option allows students to take Spanish courses during their program (the 150-hour option includes extra teaching observation and pre-arrival work).
At the end of the four week TEFL course you will receive a TEFL/TESOL certificate that is recognized internationally, providing you with all the material and resources you need for teaching English in Buenos Aires or anywhere in the world. Furthermore, we provide you with job placement facilitation at the completion of your course, ensuring you have the opportunity to enter into the field immediately.
In this extensive TEFL training program you will practice your newfound teaching and grammar skills and will become qualified to teach students of every English level from any linguistic background. Your TEFL course will qualify you to teach English abroad, enabling you to make a living or just earn some extra spending money by teaching English in Buenos Aires or anywhere across the globe! By complementing your TEFL course with intensive Spanish classes and a shared apartment on our Spanish and TEFL program, not only are you enabled to teach English but you are also given the unique opportunity to simultaneously immerse yourself in the language and culture of Buenos Aires and Argentina. |
