Description of Inca Trail:
The Inca Trail’s main attraction is the world famous “
Lost
City
of the Incas” (
Machu Picchu
) which was used by the Incas to communicate with the “Antis” (the jungle people). This trail is the most well known and most popular hike in all of
Peru
. The Inca Trail (distance about
45 kilometers
) links a range of stunningly preserved Inca ruins and a physically challenging hike, especially on the second day when you will ascend the daunting yet rewarding “Dead Woman’s Pass.” Included in the trek are visits to the ruins of Llactapata, Huayllabamba, Llulucha Pampa, Warmiwañusca, Runkuracay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Wiñayhuayna, and of course, the enchanting Machu Picchu.

- Extra guide and assistant cook for groups bigger than 8 people
- Pick up at hotel by bus and transfer to kilometer 82.
- Entrance fees to the Inca trail and Machu Picchu. Double occupancy tents (all new equipment!)
- Camping Equipment: kitchen tent, dining tent, chairs, tables and comfortable mattresses, toilet.
- Cook Porters for the food and camping equipment

Our Spanish and Inca Trail program includes one week of intensive immersion Spanish courses at our Spanish school in Cusco (20 hours, Monday to Friday), homestay accommodation with a local Peruvian family with meals, the Inca Trail, which includes four days and three nights of trekking to Machu Picchu as well as numerous other Inca ruins (camp accommodation and all equipment and meals are provided), ensuring you learn Spanish and through practical use.
On our Spanish and Inca Trail program you will not only learn Spanish through your courses at our Spanish school in
Cusco
, but you will also have the opportunity to experience Peruvian food and culture during your homestay and through your contact with local guides, porters and other Peruvians all along the Inca trail. By trekking the Inca Trail to Macchu Picchu, you will obtain insight into the country’s cultural roots and indigenous heritage. Along the way (the Inca Trail is approximately

) you will visit incredibly preserved Inca ruins and take in the breath-taking natural scenery, with views of snow capped mountains, the cloud forest and expansive green landscapes. The four-day Inca Trail concludes with a moving visit to the memorable ruins of
Machu Picchu
