Established over twenty years ago, the professors at our Spanish language school in Quito are deeply committed to student learning, as further demonstrates by the myriad of student services available. Student can relax during breaks in the garden and barbeque area, and have access to free Wi-Fi and internet, a video room, a library, a bar area for breaks, an in-house travel agency offering trips to the Galapagos Islands and other must see destinations, as well as a restaurant-bar, often used to house cultural events. Meet our professors and our school staff!

All members of the teaching staff are graduates of literature and languages, with special qualifications in teaching, and years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Our language school boasts some of the most experienced professors and professional staff of any Spanish language school in Quito. Meet our professors and our school staff!

Merx cajas Spanish Professor
Merx studied Spanish literature at the Universidad Central right in Quito. She has taught Spanish for several years in Ecuador because she loves the language school environment, meeting new people, and developing creative teaching methods.

Serena Figueroa Spanish Professor
Serena received her university degree in social communication and has worked as a Spanish professor in both Chile and Ecuador, teaching group classes and private lessons. Serena has also worked in the media industry as a television producer.

Gilda Maria Vargas Spanish Professor
Gilda completed her university studies in educational sciences with a specialization in Spanish as a foreign language, in addition to tourism administration and biochemistry. She has worked as a Spanish teacher for almost 20 years in several international foundations, the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana in Quito, as well as our Spanish institute in Ecuador. On the side, Gilda also enjoys serving as a tour guide and an internship coordinator in the biology and ecology fields.

Martha Venegas Spanish Professor
Martha received her degree in the Spanish language and literature and has worked as a Spanish teacher for 17 years.

Myriam Mueses Spanish Professor
Myriam studied educational psychology and has taught Spanish to foreigners for 8 years. She loves learning about other cultures and meeting people from around the world, and centers her classes on discussions concerning international issues.

Efraín Cóndor Spanish Professor
Efraín received his degree in education sciences, with focuses both in history and teaching Spanish as a second language. Efraín has taught Spanish for 16 years all over Ecuador, now settling down in Quito.
