Health and Traveler’s Insurance
ViaSpanish *highly* recommends that all students have comprehensive international health and travel insurance abroad for the full duration of their program. For those who wish to purchase insurance, ViaSpanish has teamed up with CareMed International to offer students two comprehensive travel and medical insurance packages at affordable monthly rates to ensure international coverage for our students. Plans for insurance abroad include medical, legal and technical services, 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and are valid for study in Santiago, or any ViaSpanish destination, along with travel around South America.

ViaSpanish assures all students that we take health and safety as well as safe travel practices very seriously on each of our programs abroad. International concerns and all emergency information available in Argentina are taken into heavy consideration when developing our programs and are at the forefront of our minds throughout the length of each student’s program.  Please visit our Santiago

Student Visas
Depending on their nationality, some students may be required to apply for a student visa if studying Spanish in Chile on a program over 90 days in duration. Please visit our Student Visa page for specific requirements about your home country.
